Responsibility
I started this role through a work experience programme at my secondary school, which was extended by an additional month as the team needed extra support and found I quickly adapted to the tasks. Although unpaid, the experience was invaluable. Under the guidance of their in-house designer, James, I gained a strong foundation in design principles and practical skills that have stayed with me to this day. I had hands-on experience with printers, and they even entrusted me with designing and building signs for customers. Sadly, FastSigns Staines has since closed, but this experience remains one of my most enjoyable and formative in the world of design.
